"Melvin Kusin (1926 - 2018), called "Poppy" by me and his other grandchildren, was a World War II veteran, Senior Olympics track star, and Texas chili mix entrepreneur. Poppy's life was bold and full of unexpected turns. But of his many adventures, Poppy was most proud of leading our family's Passover Seder for seventy-two years in a row.
